Official World Golf No. 18, Justin Rose, has tee'd off in probably his most unusual location to date - on the bow of the Maurice Lacroix P1 SuperStock powerboat.
Rose, who is hoping to represent the European team in The Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor in Wales on October 1-3, was one of a number of celebrities donning the plus fours at the exclusive Stoke Park Golf Club today at an event in aid of the Cancer Research charity.
Carefully positioned next to the 14th tee, the 300hp powerboat was on display to support the charity golfing tournament on behalf of P1 SuperStock sponsors and timepiece masters, Maurice Lacroix.
Among the golfing glitterati, familiar faces off the Pro-AM circuit included Chris Evans, Tim Henman, David Seaman and legendary athlete, Kriss Akabusi, who was hoping to get a few tips on his short game from P1 Chief Operating Officer, Robert Wicks. All jokes about him spending most of his time in the water were ill-advised.
