2010 Venues

The fifth and final round of the P1 SuperStock Championship travels to Lymington on 2 October for a dramatic conclusion to the UK's most exciting marine motorsport.

Joining forces with the RIB racers in the Lymington Challenge, the P1 SuperStock race fleet will race with up to 20 RIBs on a demanding race circuit of 14 nautical miles, taking in the infamous Needles and dramatic Hurst Castle. The western extremeties of The Solent will stretch the crews to their limits with large waves and fast tide flows through the Hurst Narrows.

In the SuperStock 300 Class, championship leaders Heights of Abraham will be defending its Southampton Grand Prix of the Sea victory standing 34 points clear of second place Team Maurice Lacroix. Rough Cut Racing lies just 14 points behind Team Maurice Lacroix.

In the SuperStock 150 Class it's even tighter with Grandstand Motorsports 26 points clear of Team Fox who were crowned Southampton Grand Prix of the Sea 150 winners - its first Grand Prix victory this year.

The Lymington Grand Prix of the Sea gets underway on Saturday morning with the SuperStock combined class race at 09.30. Race two sees the SuperStock fleet racing with the RIBs of the Lymington Challenge at 14.30. You can see the SuperStock boats in Lymington Marina from Friday 1 October with the Lymington Challenge RIB crews arriving from early morning Saturday 2 October.

Best viewing points are Hurst Castle and on the Isle of Wight, on the beaches west of Yarmouth.
